It is through a press release that LG has given more information on the LG G Pad 10.1 which had already seen it a few weeks ago. So now we know all its specifications and its availability should be spread over the summer at the international level.
LG has officially unveiled the LG G Pad family last May with no less than three models: 7 inches, 8 inches and 10.1 inches. The brand was given in contrast no information about the components that were under the hull and could take over the shelves (off) at MedPi few days later. LG today has raised a little more light on the big sister of the range, the LG G Pad 10.1, although some information was still missing.
First, the LCD panel is 10.1 inches IPS type, which is a guarantee of good viewing angles. The resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA), which is a bit disappointing for a panel of this size. The SoC is a Qualcomm Snapdragon with 4 cores running at 1.2 GHz. We do not know the exact model and therefore can not know the type of heart or the integrated graphics chip model. The processor is supported by 1 GB of RAM and storage is supported by a flash memory chip 16 GB. A microSD slot is present to increase storage capacity.
In the photo section, you will trust a 1.3 megapixel front sensor against 5 megapixel rear tablet. Wi-Fi is of course part of the same if we do not know the supported standards. 8000 mAh battery should give the tablet a good autonomy. Android KitKat in version 4.4.2 will come with the tablet, like the features we already know with the LG G3 as Knock Code, Smart Keyboard or Dual Window. The dimensions are already known: 260.9 x 165.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 523 grams.
The LG G Pad 10.1 will be available (in two colors: red and black) in the month of July in the US followed by Europe, Asia and Latin America. The price has not yet been communicated by the Korean company. However, it can expect a fairly low price, particularly in view of the definition of screen chosen by LG.
