The rumor circulating recently on the Internet concerning the development of a 5-inch smartphone from HTC now takes a little more body, after the publication of what appears to be complete specifications of the terminal in question.
The Unwired View site, which already published last month a leaked video of the terminal, called One X 5 according to the picture says Tuesday that the smartphone – or phablet, given its size – would DLX codename. It would have a 5-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz, 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage space, two sensors pictures / videos 12 and 2 megapixel camera and a non-removable battery 2500 mAh. Everything should run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and could be unveiled by the end of the year.
The video leaked in September
Knowing qu’HTC unveiled last week the One X +, an improved version of its high-end smartphone HTC One X has a 4.7 inch screen, one can well imagine that the company wants to move to 5-inch a new terminal to enter the dance of phablets, and compete with the Galaxy Note II and the diagonal of 5.5 inches.
