Search: Microsoft purifies the Bing interface

The team developing the Bing search engine deploys an update of the results page.

On its official blog, the Bing team announced it has revised the layout of the results of the search engine. In recent months, several usability tests were conducted to optimize the visibility of the content of the page. The result is a largely uncluttered interface that is reminiscent of Google.

Deemed unnecessary elements have been removed as the navigation bar in the header and the column to the left of the results. The police would fit better readability and improved ergonomics on the shelves. Meanwhile developers have optimized the page load time and also testing a larger version of the daily updated picture on the engine home page.
